Button sculptures by Augusto Esquivel

These sculptures are created by suspending hundreds and hundreds of sewing buttons on fishing line, eventually creating a 3D object. Incredible!

Pencil Sculptures - Dalton Ghetti

These are sculpted from the graphite in everyday lead pencils that have been discarded.




The extremely patient, skilled, Dalton Ghetti uses his naked eye, a sewing needle and a tiny metal blade to carve the graphite.


 

The artist doesn't sell them - he does them for himself. Each piece takes months to finish. The chain (pictured above) took over two years.
